A build I tried out briefly during the Shoggoth peak era
(1) 25% of total durability is added upon ability activation, triggering an 80% damage reduction. The plan was that for a certain amount of damage, only the added durability would be chipped away.
-> Due to a fatal mechanic where the damage reduction disappears during mid-air waiting after activating the warp for return, it gave the impression of being more fragile than expected.
(2) It has the advantage of moving forward by, if I recall correctly, 100 meters when the ability is activated, allowing a duel between boom weapons from a distance of 700 meters. By adjusting it so that the projectile hits the opponent in time with the freeze effect activation, and the warp triggers simultaneously, it applies a shield breaker effect and a 20% damage bonus while also allowing for retreat.
-> Stability is mediocre thanks to the mechanic in (1). Given the low base damage, it was deemed impractical as it required repeating the attack about 3 times per Shoggoth. It is also unsuited for targeting beacons and, above all, too monotonous and boring.
I actually wanted to have some fun equipping Chione-type gear and unleashing three freezing fields in a row, but I had no choice but to give up on that due to the abysmal hit rate.
This was actually our first time deploying Harpy & Siren, but despite being recommended for F2P players, it felt like mechanism (1) was holding them back way too much. With some lingering doubts about that, we wrapped up their deployment, and now they are resting deep in the warehouse.
