This chapter seemed like Matsuri was fishing for Harumi to admit that she has a crush on Yuzu, only to be blindsided by Harumi saying that she'll go to university in Kyoto.
But then Matsuri digs deeper and Harumi admits that she wants some distance from Yuzu. If I had a crush that I couldn't have, I'd wanna make some distance too. But that's not what she says. She comes up with a cover story of how strong Yuzu's personality is and how it's hard for her to discover who she is around Yuzu. She then says that she and Matsuri are similar in that sense. Whatever that means. But you know what else would be similar between them? Having a crush on Yuzu. Matsuri had one on Yuzu before. Perhaps Harumi suspects that Matsuri still nurses a crush for Yuzu, and Matsuri suspects the same thing of Harumi.
Matsuri knows that Yuzu is all about Mei. If Matsuri can't have Mei, she's gonna make sure that whoever "replaces" her is gonna be dang special. It helps with the ego. So she makes sure to fiercely protect Yuzu and Mei. Mei makes Yuzu happy, so doing what she can to keep them together, is like saying that Matsuri makes Yuzu happy. Ego fixed.
Remember last time we saw Matsuri collapsed and depressed on her bed? It was when she helped Mei find a present for Yuzu. Matsuri indulged in a bit of fun with Mei in the log flume ride, then assured Mei that Yuzu would like anything she gave her. Even something as generic and lacking personal touch as bath salts. Yuzu did. I think that Matsuri was depressed because she wants to be with Yuzu still and just spent the afternoon helping someone else be close with Yuzu.
At the end of this chapter we see Matsuri depressed again after talking to Harumi. The word うるさい in Japanese means loud and it has been translated on the Chaosteam page as such. However, it also means "annoying." They're kind of synonymous because people being loud on the train in Japan are annoying for example. That's why it means both. Anyway, imagine Matsuri saying "Ugh, this is so annoying, it's just me that's always (like) the child." I don't think she says this because she's fallen on the floor. I think it's because even though she likes to have a hand in how people live their own lives, she just can't seem to figure out her own. !<
