Would it be a good idea to write an 18+ fanfic?

for the past like two or three weeks i've been storyboarding a fanfic around 20 to 30 chapters long, but i didn't realize until now that this subreddit understandably has a strict no-NSFW rule, so i'm either going to have to tone it down (which i don't really want to do), or just spend months of my life on it while knowing the whole time that it'll have basically no exposure and few people will read it. i'd probably be fine with that, since it originally started as just what i thought needed improving in the fics i read, so i'd be writing it mostly for myself anyway, but it'd just suck to not really be able to go online and see people talk about it

Hear me out, Lilith is the real reason why Lumity exists

Look, people are saying Hooty made Lumity exist. BUT! They are forgetting one thing! The reason Hooty helped Eda get a Harpy Form, and King got some new soundwave power, and made Lumity exist is because Lilith sent Hooty a letter, saying that he should help the people inside the house.

So in summary, Lilith sent Hooty a letter, Hooty did the thing Lilith said he could do, and boom, Lumity

Luz redraw and proper goodbye to TOH :]

It was around August 2020 when I first watched the show through sliced up youtube clips up to the grom episode when I first became obsessed with the owl house and quickly turned my spam account into my first ever fan art account. I was 14 then, I’m now 20, getting ready to start my junior year of college as a choral education student, who just so happened to feel very nostalgic for this show. I loved being there for all of it, I have multiple videos of me reacting to every episode of season 2-3, and had a decent following on that art account before burning out and making it private just incase future students decide to stalk me and my teenage endeavors. I always wished I was able to make a goodbye drawing but they never made it past the sketch phase.
I love the owl house, I don’t think I have or ever will feel as connected to another show as I have with this one. It’s even hard to talk about with people in person because I hate exposing how much I know about this damn show !! It completely took over the most formative years of my life, and I was able to make so many core memories I wouldn’t have been able to make anywhere else. Thank you Dana and the team for everything, you’ve helped me feel seen as a lesbian and afro latina from 14-20. I hope the magic that came from this show lives on forever 💛

Since I stopped drawing my level is still stuck at how I drew at 17/18 but I don’t mind it all, I just felt a big urge to sketch and complete and drawing for once. This is from one of the best scenes imo, where Luz discovers glyph magic. I don’t know if I’ll ever post new fan art again, definitely not to my old instagram account. Third slide was my first ever drawing of Luz since this might be my last!
I don’t think I’ll ever let go of this show, but I am ready to say goodbye- for now!! (I’ll be purchasing The long Lived King TRUST)

Let me know if anyone would care for me posting sketches/drawings that I made after abandoning my ig account! (and if i’m not supposed to writing essays under a fanart tag im sorry toh reddit im just a lurker)

peace!

The odds of the Worst Blight sinking this far were low but never zero.

Still love how Odalia trying to manipulate The Collector is straight up falling on deaf ears
