i’ve been brewing with Chemex for almost 2 years in the South Bay of Los Angeles, and I love the coffee. What I don’t love is the day and a half trek all around the city to try to find a new box of filters every time I run out. Everyone always has suggestions as to where they’re carried: Crate & Barrel, World Market, Klatch, Verve. And on paper, all those places carry them, but in practice, they are always out of stock. What’s the secret password? What’s the secret hidden away store that actually carries the filters I want (bleached, I don’t care about shape)? I know I can order them direct from the company, but with shipping that costs twice as much as the box does in the store.

At a minimum, I'd like to learn Spanish without having Nazi chuds in my face. That doesn't seem like too much to ask of a platform from a profit-based company.

DISAPPOINTING UPDATE: Duolingo has now entered the thread (see below) but on the Duolingo site, all that's been done is to make this user profile "Private." That just means you can't click on it for full info; the profile is still in Leaderboards, with that name and that profile pic. This is still a very inadequate response. Nazis have no place on this platform, by Duolingo's own Code of Conduct.

BETTER UPDATE: The Duolingo rep confirms below that the account has been deactivated, and its persistent appearance in the leaderboard may be a caching issue on the site itself. I'll take them at their word, and I want to state here that while the "Report Account" path for Duolingo doesn't seem to work at a reasonable speed, I appreciate their coming to this thread and taking this issue seriously!

LATER: While the account still doesn't show as deactivated on my screen, the offensive name is gone. User's name showing is now simply his account name, Danielh513U1. I'm calling this a qualified win.
