Can someone explain why a band with such musicianship always gives Kebbi 5 minutes to just make manic noise on stage? I just don’t get it. Like what’s the point. Dude is super talented but I’ve been to a number of shows (including tonight’s at Berkeley) where he’s given a spot - an interlude of sorts - where he just blows hard without any musicianship. It’s just noise. So painful.
