I am trying to find a chimney sweep who can do masonry repairs in this area. I am totally striking out. Does anyone have any recommendations? Thank you so so much!

Hi! I have a unknown species of columnar cactus. I got him for $1 at a North Carolina Lowe’s back in 2017. We have since moved and it turns out he loves living outside northern New England summers. 🤷♀️ I love him!
Here’s the problem: He started out 1 foot tall but has grown to be 9 feet tall. He is officially wedged up against our ceiling. Unfortunately, in our current apartment we do not have a stairway landing or other taller space to keep him when he is inside.
What are my options? (Other than buying a house with cathedral ceilings 😂) Could I cut the top and propagate/graft it? If so, what is the best way to go about it? If I built a contraption to tilt his pot and built supports, could I grow him at an angle without damaging his physiology?
I have been very lassiez-faire about caring for him over the past decade. I will absolutely delve into the wiki…but any tips on caring for a cactus like this would be super appreciated!

In case it is helpful…I am a forest ecologist and therefore familiar with general botany as well as horticultural practices like grafting. However, I’m from New England and out of my depth with cacti!
