Update: Bigger windows! Question about trim

okay so I bought all the trim and siding material last year (both hardie) and what I had selected for the corners is 4 1/2 inch wide boards for the corners.

Im wondering if it’ll be too wide given that there is currently only 9 1/8 inches between the edge of the window trim and the corners.

If I run a very long miter on the 4 1/2 wide material which is an inch thick then itll be a bit less than 6 inches between the window edge and corner trim. running a long miter on hardie though seems hard.

not sure what to do!

Palm nailer for a small Hardie siding job?

I've been building a 6x10 shed (but it's 12/12 so a bit more surface to cover) for a while, took a 6 month break but am getting rolling again.

I've hardie siding and trim I need to install as soon as my windows go in.

I've three options:
* hand blindnail 6d nails and go insane
* use a palm nailer, if possible, I have a cheapo harbor freight one, I can dial in the pressure to the best of my ability
* buy a siding nailer specifically (I found a Ridgid ZRR175RNF used for $100 but that is billed as a roofing nailer, takes a max of 1 3/4" nails)

What do y'all think?

windows too small?

I'm propping it up on a ladder before I cut out. I have the matching window for the other side of the door of course

This shed is only 6 x 10 but with the 12/12 pitch roof it looks much bigger.

The windows iirc are 18" w x 23" h.

I don't want to go wider because when I trim out it'll just be too small in between the door and the corner and door trims. But I could go taller perhaps. It'd be a bit of a waste of money since I can't return these.

Should I just send it? Or buy new.

recreating this muntin profile

Hi there. For some reason I decided to restore this old glass panel door. Calling it hell to do without NMP paint stripper is an understatement. Layers and layers and layers of paint.

Since I need to replace a few pieces of glass which I broke under the heat gun, I'm just going to replace the muntins entirely.

Pictured is a piece of the muntin upside down (this top bare side would be against the framing of the glass. So basically rotate it in your mind counter clockwise 90 degrees. The little reveal shown on pretty much all of my pieces is clogged with years of paint, but looks quite nice when properly shown.

I think what I'm looking at is an "ogee bullnose" since it is rounded over completely on the side but also has that reveal cut.

Can anyone help me figure out search terms, suppliers for this bit? I only have a 1/4" shank trim router and router table. I'm planning on just using a clear pine to rip these pieces on the table saw.
