This might be a dumb question (traveling)...

Okay say I am flying from the east coast to the west coast... am i allowed to travel with kratom legally if the plane flies over states where it is illegal? How does this work?

People are assuming that Trump is taking a pro-natural kratom stance

But I think we might be jumping the gun a bit there. People keep saying that he "vowed to protect natural kratom" and idk if I watched something entirely different or what but that's not what I heard at all.

The language he used was extremely vague. It *could* be loosely interpreted as supportive of natural kratom leaf but it could also be the opposite. When he said "a lot of people are asking for it" who did he mean? Those of us who are in favor of kratom or those who aren't? And what is "it" that they are asking for? When he said he is looking to get it approved, what did *that* mean? Does he mean pharmaceutical approval? Does he mean it in a straightforward regulatory sense?

When politicians say things like they are "going to take a hard look at it" that is often the beginning of restrictions, enforcement, scheduling-talk so I am not immediately going to assume that this is a good thing for natural kratom. What does everyone think? Am I being extra pessimistic or what?

Edit: I'm not asking if ppl think he will follow through on keeping kratom legal...I am more so asking if thats what people thought he was suggesting he was going to do in the first place
