Hi! New here, been playing fender guitar for well over a decade. I was originally planning on buying a Silver Sky. I decided to hold off on that idea when I saw this one. I have owned a hot rod tele for a few months and absolutely love the neck so I was almost sure I’d feel the same about the Strat. To my surprise it’s really light! I received it yesterday and spent all day playing it, the pickup combinations oddly work really well ( texas special, 56 middle, 59 neck.) This one’s definitely staying. The Fender Vintage hot rods are some of the best guitars I’ve played, and it’s a shame this line got discontinued.
