Lithium has made a huge difference in my mental health, but is taking a toll on my physical health. Any suggestions for alternative meds?

After 2 years of fighting with the onset of depression, which was then diagnosed as bipolar2, I found the mix of meds that makes me able to feel and live life: 150mg Zoloft and 650mg lithium. These meds have made a world of difference for me, but the lithium seems to be causing hypothyroidism, despite taking levothyroxine (thyroid hormone) in higher and higher amounts. It’s looking like I’m going to need to stop the lithium and switch to something else, but it’s a bad time to do this because of my next college semester starting in a week. Any med suggestions? Anything would be appreciated

BRCA2 positive and specialist is recommending total mastectomy at 25

I am a 20 y/o with a maternal familial history of BRCA2 gene. My maternal grandmother passed from breast cancer at 33, and my mother’s breast cancer was discovered during her preventative mastectomy at 30. My specialist is recommending that I have preventative surgery at 25, 5 years from now. Just looking for some insight/advice from others because I am still 3-4 years away from being economically ready to support children, which I very much want, and want to have the ability to breastfeed. I’m just feeling like I’m running out of time to find a significant other and get the pieces into place to have children before my surgery. Also, it is highly suspected that I have endometriosis and I have a maternal history of infertility due to said endometriosis. Any input would be great, thanks.
