Finally got a job after 400 applications

I left my 100k job this year because the environment was way too toxic and it was eating at my soul. I was miserable every single second of everyday. I've been applying to jobs (both in my field plus other fields plus entry levels) anything I can find for 3-4 months, 400+ applications, about 13 interviews and 3 offers.

I just accepted one offer that pays less than my old job but it's the best option out of the other offers.

At this point, it's just about finding the "least miserable" option and tryna survive. Because let's be real, even 80-100k jobs in Toronto don't mean much after taxes. I've seen so many jobs that pay 50k a year and ask for 5-7 years experience plus a Master's degree. It's crazy out there but that's the world we live in.

Just wanted to share my story and for those still looking - don't give up!! It is just a numbers game at this point. I've been rejected from entry level jobs on Indeed that I'm definitely qualified for.

Good luck y'all!
