Super Micro OLED pixel size
I finally received my OLED module yesterday, swapping from a 50ppd.
I am not going to repeat all the things other noticed, which I was prepared for and I am fine with. I think it's still better than the 50ppd in many aspects.
There is one aspect I wasn't prepared for though, since nobody I think mentioned it.
I immediately noticed (I admit I am very detail oriented in general) I can see slightly jagged pixels on the OLED module while looking at the edges of clean graphics in menus. I never had this on the 50ppd. Which is weird considering the OLED should be 53ppd.
No matter how much I increase the res of the game to super sample the image, it looks like I am observing the physical limit of the pixels size on the OLED panel. How's that even possible?
The 50ppd was a chromatic aberration mess but in the sweet spot I never had anything like that. Granted we are talking about something minor that clearly many people haven't spotted by it's 100% there.
Am I alone here? 😄
