I’m planning to buy the controller just for this game. Can someone who owns both the game and the snes controller please confirm this?

I did some research before posting but couldn’t find any concrete answer.

I have a modded pspgo however I don’t want to trim the plastic or open it up because I am sure I will mess something up.

I don’t need a huge amount of free space, so I was wondering if I could just buy a 16gb M2 memory card online, plug it in and I’m good to go? Can I transfer games from the internal memory of my pspgo to the M2 card? Do I need to connect the M2 card to my pc first in order to create the iso file? And can a PC read an M2 memory card or do I need a special device to do so?
