Really Need Advice

Stopped vaping 5 days ago due to wanting to improve my health. Every single day without fail & more so when not active I’m getting what feels like a fluttering in my chest maybe palpitations but feel almost below my throat really hard to explain. My GP doesn’t seem concerned and ECG is coming back normal. Im really starting to panic that im missing something and i have a problem. It seems to be worse when eating and lying down. Can anyone advise if they have had this problem and if so did it ever calm down. Could this be a withdrawal symptom or something more serious ?

Two Months Post Smoking - GI issues constantly.

So for context i gave up vaping two months ago as I wanted to better my health and the long term effects of smoking.

I have Crohns disease and felt things were well managed for about a year and a half on biologics.

Since stopping smoking ive had constant stomach pain gurgling and fatigue every day without fail.

Ive had my Calprotectin and other stool tests checked to be told today that my Calpro is 20 which is low.

Im starting to spiral and become very depressed and i think the smoking may have been masking the Crohns all along.

Anybody have a similar experience or some advice on what I can do to help what im going through. My IBD team are refusing to give me steroids or extra meds as my stools levels are so low.

Somebody please help i dont know if this is temporay or they are missing something 😔

Giving up Smoking With Crohns Insane stomach Gurgling

I am waiting ln advice from my IBD nurse so i am not relying on you guys for answers just hope reaching out may calm the way I’m thinking.

Been in remission for over a year with Biologics for Crohns & Sacrolitis in my back but i was vaping and smoking the odd cigarette since diagnosis. I decided to stop both just under 5 weeks ago and things have been horrid since.

I still have 0 pain in my back so I know the biologics are working but my Crohns issues are back in full swing. Cramping after eating and the most insane stomach sounds which make it impossible to relax or sleep.

Could this be due to the lacks of nicotine which may have triggered a flare as I expected things to have settled now that im 5 weeks jn. I have what my GI classes as mild terminal ileum Crohns.

Im scared that back im at square one and find it really hard to live like this. Im from Wales and the IBD/GI responses take weeks.

Gave up Tobacco with Crohns and things have gone awful.

I have recently decided to give up smoking due to personal reasons. Weed mixed with tobacco. Im not proud of this as I know how bad it is.

I have crohns disease and Sacroillits which is being treated with biologics.

Since stopping 3 weeks ago the first weed i seemed okay but ever since has been a slow decline to where I am now. About 6 hours after eating anything i get the worst cramps and gas with constantly movement feeling in intestines which I’m guessing must be gas.

Has anyone dealt with anything like this an im really start to panic that I am slipping out of remission because of this.

Please anything positive or clued up on this type of thing. Is this temporary ?
