my hair is thick and curly but my hairline is cooked. it’s been like this since at least 14 years old and i’m 17 rn. just curious if im overthinking and worried for no reason.

i am 17 with thick, curly hair but my hairline is horrible. my temples seem to be receding. i’ve seen pics of when i was 14 or so and it was also bad then so am i receding or is this natural? my dad has a full head of hair at 57. its my biggest insecurity and i wanna fix it so i can get a buzz cut with my friends.
