Viture XR pro with Inair Pod

I have the Xr, Beasts and Xreal One Pro. (and also briefly tried the Ultras)

While all are useful with the Pod, I was surprised when I recently tried the XR Pros with the pod. The glasses had mostly been sitting around since I picked up the Beasts

tldr the XR implementation is IMHO the best of the three with the Pod currently and really extends how useful the glasses are. the 3dof is rock solid (much better than the implementation with the Xreals)

Yes the other screens have advantages in fov etc but for reading browsing and productivity the xr implementation is fantastic. Unfortunately for me the XRs too small and the comfort isn't as good but if they fit you this is a great combo. The edge to edge clarity in the xr combo is also fantastic.

The sizing / centering algorithms also work great allowing you to easily recenter (when rarely needed) and then having the large virtual space with the multiple windows that can be moved around or maximized.

I am hoping the implementation for the Beasts ends up with the same kind of advantage as to be honest the Xreal One Pro implementation was disappointing to me. using the native ultra wide screen worked better than the integrated solution with them.

edit: as mentioned in the comments below it took me a bit to figure out using the little slider control at the bottom of the window (I think it's called adjust focus). Without using that the display often defaults to a tilted / off center image but that control allows me to manually sit it where I like and it stays there.

Using a single screen and extend displays the font sizes etc are all great on the Beast. But, when i kick it into ultrawide, even if I make each window approximately 1/3 the size of the Ultrawide display, the icons and text are much larger. My primary goal is to effectively do multiple window work. I am currently travelling so I haven’t been able to try the 1200p update yet (I’m one back)

Anyone else experience this and found a good workaround? When I use my XOP in Ultrawide I end up with a much better resolution and sizing on the same iPad.

EDIT: I updated to the 1200p firmware and this now seems to be resolved ….
