Beast - Best Display Mode for Gaming

What display mode do you prefer for gaming? I‘m thinking about to get me the Beast Model and thought that the best way to simulate a regular monitor would be the 3DoF Mode but i heard that it‘s still not that good even after the updates.

Watching Movies on iPhone - Display Stops

Yes, I am new to these glasses. So I apologize in advance, but I couldn’t find the answer to this question. While watching anything on streaming apps, Netflix, Apple TV, etc. the phone stops displaying when it goes to the lock screen. I’ve googled this, but none of the options seems to work. It doesn’t happen when I’m casting from the phone to a TV, only when connected to the glasses.

What am I missing? i’m on the latest pre-release of iOS. Thanks in advance for your help.

Best choice for productivity and working while lying down? (Myopic -5.75D with -1 Astigmatism)

VITURE Luma Pro vs XREAL 1S (and others)

Hey everyone,

Because of my postviral fatigue, I’m looking to buy a pair of XR glasses primarily for productivity/work (coding, managing documents, reading text) while lying flat on my back.

I’ve been deep-diving into reviews of the current lineup, but I’m having a hard time finding direct head-to-head comparisons for my specific use case, especially between the VITURE Luma Pro and the XREAL 1S.

From my research, I’ve gathered the following trade-offs, but I’d love some real-world feedback from anyone who has used these:

  • VITURE Luma Pro / Ultra: Appears to have slightly better edge-to-edge text clarity (which is huge for coding) and built-in myopia adjustment. However, I’ve heard the 3DoF/6DoF tracking relies heavily on host software (SpaceWalker) or the external Neckband, which can be buggy or prone to drift. Also, are the plastic arms still prone to cracking if pressed against a pillow?
  • XREAL 1S: Has the onboard X1 custom chip for native, hardware-isolated 3DoF tracking, which seems way more stable out-of-the-box without software overhead. It also seems physically sturdier with metal joints. But how is the text clarity at the edges when reading documents or code?
  • Other options (Viture Beast, XREAL One Pro, RayNeo Air 4 Pro): I looked into these too, but heard the flat prism optics on the Beast/One Pro introduce bad chromatic aberration on text, and the RayNeo lacks spatial anchoring completely.

My setup & environment:

  • Primary use: Work, reading, coding. then gaming and movies.
  • Posture: Supine (lying completely flat in bed/on a couch).
  • Priorities: Rock-solid screen anchoring (no drift/jitter), crisp text legibility across the whole screen, and comfort/durability when resting on a pillow.

If you had to pick one exclusively for a supine productivity workflow, which one would you buy? Does XREAL's rock-solid hardware tracking beat VITURE's optical clarity for this, or vice versa?

Thanks in advance!

Anyone else struggling with color accuracy on the VITURE Beast? (Skin tones are way too yellow)

Hey everyone,

I've been using my VITURE Beast glasses for about a month, and I’m having a really hard time dialing in the color accuracy.

At first, I just noticed that something felt slightly "off" with the image, but I couldn't quite pinpoint what it was. It only became obvious when I watched a Coffeezilla video on YouTube. In his talking head videos, he wears a white shirt, and his theme is generally on the yellow side, but when watching with the Viture Beast, the yellow was shifted quite hard that he literally looked like he has jaundice.

I’ve already tried troubleshooting this through a few different methods, but none of them have worked:

  1. On-Glasses Settings: Cycled through the default presets (True Color, Film, etc.), but the yellow tint persists across all of them.
  2. Mac System Settings: Swapped around different Display Presets in System Settings > Displays on my Mac, but it didn't solve the underlying panel calibration.
  3. VITURE Web Tuning Tool: Connected to the calibration tool on the VITURE website, but the sliders are pretty limited and I couldn’t find a balance that looks natural or accurate.

Has anyone else dealt with this specific yellow tint issue on the Beast? If you managed to fix it or create a custom profile (either via ICC profiles on macOS or specific RGB values in the web tool) that gives natural skin tones, could you share your settings?

Appreciate any help or workarounds!

Beast nose fit

I am a huge fan of my Beast glasses but am still struggling with getting a comfortable fit on my nose. I have tried all 4 of the OEM nose pieces and tried the Oakley hack but still struggle to get them comfortable for more than about 30 min. Do you guys have any suggestions of other things I can try?

3D won't work without using Immerse3D

Sometimes I don't want algorithmic 3D and have a bunch of SBS movies I want to watch. I just need the glasses to display it in 3D format. However when I toggle 3D mode, it doesn't overlap properly. Or lens is completely blank. Is this normal? Does 3D only work with Immerse3D software and not won't project properly without it?

VITURE Beast XR Glasses—The Best AR Glasses on the Market (With a Few Caveats) my honest review 3 Months In #FeedTheBeast

Having owned the Viture XR Pro, I was expecting a big jump in performance with the Viture Beast. For the most part, they deliver, though there are a few things that could be improved.

But in short, if you are looking for the best, stop looking this are the best. Starting with the good stuff: the FOV and screen size are incredible.

The Pros:

Honestly, the size, colors, and sharpness are the best I've seen, bar none. The audio is also a step up, sounding louder and higher quality. The onboard 3DoF is the real star here—you can plug it into any USB-C video source and "pin" your screen in place without having to mess with any software or anything. I also tried the "follow" mode while going for a walk, and it was brilliant.

It's just amazing to have a clear, high-res screen with you everywhere. For gaming as well as for media they're simply fantastic. I used them with my Ally X (on both Windows and Bazzite) and games as well as movies, youtube, other media when connected to my Iphone looked gorgeous.

For work and productivity, I used them with my G16 as well as with my Macbook , and it’s a lifesaver to have extra screens on the go without actually carrying monitors.

Downsides

Now for the downsides. I felt the "all metal/aluminum" marketing was a bit misleading. While the frames and hinges are metal, the legs are plastic. This is a big disappointment because that was one of the reasons specifically why I went with the Beast over the Lumas. Compared to the XR Pro, which has all-metal legs, this feels like a step backward. Also, there’s no built-in diopter adjustment.

I’ve seen people complain that the edges or outside of the center of the screen to be blurry, but I think that is because those people need to get their prescription inserts vision issue. I got prescription inserts, and the whole screen is crystal clear. Even if you think your vision is perfect, I’d suggest getting the inserts.

One last thing: the top front of the frames gets really hot. You don't feel it while wearing them, but you definitely notice it when you take them off. Also when connected to my iphone it drains my battery super quickly, didnt did that with my Viture Pro (while it have tested that side by side TBH)

TLDR; The Viture Beast are BY FAR the best AR glasses out there. Definitely get the prescription inserts. I can't wait to try these out while flying my drone. These are simply the best!

Interesting fact. When I purchased the victure luma pro’s, I was able to plug them directly into my PS5 and play Fortnite. I (upgraded) to the luma ultras and now that doesn’t work anymore. Wtaf?!

Viture Beast prescription lense inserts - delivery time.

I was wondering, for the people that ordered their prescription lenses from Viture, how long was it from purchase to when you actually had your lenses. I'm on day 19 now and fedex says it'll be a few more days STILL before they arrive.

Vibe coding with the Beast

Random thing I did last week, tried vibe coding in the Beast for a couple hours. Just me, Macbook, Claude, and this small side thing I've been putting off.

Went in expecting it to feel like a second monitor. And it did, but surprisingly, it helped me focus. Claude to my left, VS code in front, terminal and docs floating off to the right. Everything just sat where I put it. Didn't realize how much of my day is cmd+tab until it wasn't happening.

Not saying I'd do everything this way, nose bridge got a little tired around hour three, and I don't think I'd want long meeting in this thing. But for a "get in and figure this out" kind of session? I get it now. AI+XR is a combo I didn't expect to click, and kind of did.

Virtue Neckband

I just got my refurbished Virtue Pro glasses, I love them. I'm watching as much world cup on them as I can. But I'm thinking of getting something where I can download movies and let my girlfriend watch them while we are traveling. Is the Neckband worth it? or would she just have a better experience running them off her Iphone 16 pro?

Side quest, are there any accessories you all recommend, mostly for movie watching, but I may try some gaming on them if I get a remote.

Power Packed Puck Prize-Fight! - INAIR Pod vs VITURE Pro Neckband

Ignore the Title. I'll see myself out xD

But in this one I pit the Pro Neckband against the INAIR Pod. The comparison is mainly from the perspective of use with the LUMA Ultra, but I do talk about using other glasses with them too. The Ultra is just the best pair of glasses to use on both of them, so we are going full Goku and letting them fight at their BEST. It wouldn't be fair if I used the INAIR glasses for the Pod lol

It's honestly closer than I thought and the winner actually surprised me. BUT it's really not as cut and dry as just going by category wins makes it seem and I think the argument can be made for either.

Which one works best for your use case?

I think I will personally be reaching for the winner more often now, but a software update could change that any day.

How do I get rid of these black spots on the inside of my BEAST?

Not sure if it is clear in the attached photos, but I just got a new BEAST and the left display has some black dots, which appears to be on the OLED display itself, inside of the lens housing. I'm not sure if it's possible to clean it and if I should risk opening the top cover - not sure if I can even get to it and if those spots are even cleanable.

Anyone else come across something like this? Should I just get it replaced under warranty?

Update: Thanks for the replies, everyone! I got it replaced under warranty, replacement ones have no issues:)

"Best AR glasses money can buy" — so why does turning my head kill game audio on the Viture Beast?

Bought the Beast recently and mostly love it, but I've run into a bug that's driving me up the wall, and I'm now pretty sure it's the glasses/firmware and not my devices. Full repro below in case anyone else is hitting this or knows a fix.

My setup: I use anchor mode (3DoF), so the screen stays locked in place. Turn my head away and the tint goes clear; turn back and it darkens again. Audio comes out of the glasses' own built-in speakers.

What works perfectly: iPhone 16 Pro, watching YouTube or movies in VLC. Zero issues, rock solid, no matter how much I look around.

What breaks: games.

  • Same iPhone 16 Pro, but in mobile games: I anchor the screen, look away, look back — and every so often the audio starts crackling, stuttering and looping on itself for a second or two, then fixes itself. Look away and back again, and it does it again.
  • And it's not just iOS. My girlfriend was playing Horizon Zero Dawn on an Xbox Ally X running Bazzite (so Linux + AMD), audio through the glasses. Exact same thing: turn away from the anchored screen, turn back, audio glitches and loops, then recovers on its own. Over and over.

Here's what makes me sure it's the Beast and not my gear: it reproduces on two completely different platforms — iOS and Linux/AMD — with the exact same trigger (anchor mode + turning your head), and only in games, never in video. Different OS, different hardware, same bug. That points straight at the glasses' firmware — and I'm on the latest build, 0.01.025_20260608 (released June 8, 2026), so this isn't something a recent update has already fixed.

My guess at what's happening (happy to be corrected): the Beast does head-tracked 3DoF audio, and the tint/display changes state when you look away and back. That briefly interrupts the DisplayPort stream. Video players buffer hundreds of milliseconds of audio, so they just ride through it and you never hear it. Games run tiny low-latency audio buffers, so the interruption starves the buffer — you get the crackle/stutter/loop — and then it recovers once the buffer refills. Classic audio underrun.

Questions for anyone who knows more:

  • Anyone else getting this in games with anchor / 3DoF mode?
  • Is there a way to turn off 3DoF / spatial audio? Does switching to smooth follow or 0DoF make it go away?
  • Any firmware fix for this, or has Viture said anything about it?

Viture, if you're reading this: this is a clean, reproducible bug on your flagship — latest firmware, two completely different platforms, same exact trigger. Is it known? Anything planned for a firmware fix? You sell the Beast as the best AR glasses money can buy — let's get the 3DoF experience matching the price tag.

Setup, for anyone who'll ask: Viture Beast, firmware 0.01.025_20260608 (latest, June 8 2026), iPhone 16 Pro (native USB-C), Xbox Ally X on Bazzite, audio through the built-in speakers, anchor / 3DoF mode.

Neckband Pro - HUGE immersion fail?

So today I got my order of the neckband pro, and I was super happy to try it out...

First impressions were nice, testing out general features, downloading a couple of apps, etc..

And then I notice...

Those huge "Back" and "Close App" buttons... They're ALWAY there..! W T F..?

How can a product that is for entertainment/media consumption, and where the whole point is immersion leave me those huge horrible buttons right on top of the movie..?

Please tell me that it is me who's the dummy, that I'm missing something, and not that some mentally challenged person designed this...

I don't think I would like to keep the neckband if this is how it's gonna work...

Viture Beast: the support is HORRIBLE

So.. I made a mistake of buying a Viture Beast, it seems. (should've went for Xreal)?

Guys, please help me before I just pack this thing and return.

I unpack, want to update firmware. I connect it to PC, google how to download firmware updater for Viture.. it's all in THAI. Any links I open redirect me to Thai website (I'm in Bangkok) in Thai language only. No way to switch to english website or switch language. All instructions - Thai Thai Thai. Ok, google translate. It says my browser (Firefox) is unsupported but says that I can update through windows app.

I download Spacewalk app, install, connect glasses, it says - let's update firmware! and redirects me to my browser. Which is unsupported. OMG.

OK, I download Chrome just for this. Install Chrome, navigate through annoying Thai firmware update page, somehow it redirects to the English one, connects to glasses, updating firmware.. 2%.. failure. I repeat several times, it always fails to 2%. Why oh why use unreliable browser-to-USB redirection for firmware updates?

OK, google suggests me to use Android for firmware updates. No problem - I bought glasses to use with my Odin 3, anyway. I plug it into my Odin 3, download neckband app, run.. it says "turn on location for bluetooth scanning" on the first screen. Why would I need bluetooth scanning, I connected over USB? OK, I turn on BT. Still same error. It wants me to enable location? Why not ask permission the way other Android apps do? OK, I go to settings, enable location scanning for Neckband app. Same error.

I'm just shocked at this point. Like am I being too dumb or too smart or doing something wrong, or is this product support non-existent? Please advise.
