Chicago show review

I love to read reviews of shows I have attended, and this morning I was looking online for reviews of Kurt's Chicago show. I found this summary and wanted to read the actual article/s that Google was quoting from. After being unable to find any results with the direct quotes, I asked Google if it fabricated the information it presented to me. I was not expecting the reply I got! 🤦‍♀️😅

Speaking for myself, I thought the show was maybe a 7.5 out of 10. I am not loving the new album so the set list was kinda meh for me, but I did quite enjoy How Lucky, A Girl Called Alex, Runnerups, and Bass-ackwards. And I will say that it was nice to hear the new stuff live. I thought the sound mixing left a lot to be desired. Half the time you couldn't hear the vocals, and when you could, if you didn't know the lyrics already, you still often had a hard time making them out. The band was really tight though, Kurt seemed in fine spirits. Overall I am glad I went, and I had a great evening.

New user - are any of these "normal"?

New user since beginning of June, using airSense 11, f30i mask... I think my pressure range is 4-12. I just put in an SD card so I could get more info, but so far I think I'm adjusting ok. Averaging about 6 hrs of use per night after an hour or two on the couch.

I do have some questions about things I'm noticing though, and I'm wondering if others have had similar experiences. If so, do they go away/get better?

  1. Not waking up to pee anymore, but I'm retaining water. I tend to have occasional episodes during the summer with swelling feet/legs, but I've gained like 10lbs, and even my eyelids are puffy when I wake up, so I'm wondering if this is CPAP-related. [Caveat - I hadn't weighed myself in a few months, so I can't swear this is all new, but my weight's been pretty steady otherwise.]
  2. AHI went from 47/hr to a range of 4-11. (It's tightening up; avg this week 6.6) Is this a wide range? My sleep lab went down to just over 1/hr but that was with a nose mask and it pinches off my breathing, so I switched to full face.
  3. When I wake up, I feel like I'm "done" sleeping. (Sometimes if it's too early, I try for another hour or so, and usually am successful.) BUT, for the first hour or so that I'm up, I feel kind of buzzed. Not dizzy or lightheaded, but kind of like I've been riding on a motorcycle or been on a boat or something. It's not totally unpleasant, but it's "different" and hard to explain.

I don't see the DME people for a couple weeks, and then the sleep doc another week or so later, so I thought I'd check in with you experts :) Thanks for any input!

Chicago - Salt Shed not selling many tix?

it's looking like i may need to sell my June 26 tickets, and i'm getting kind of nervous because there still seem to be loads of tickets left. does anyone know if his shows tend to sell more tickets as the date approaches?

to make matters worse, i had to buy 3 seats because it wouldn't let me leave a single seat. and on top of that, the tickets aren't being released until like a week before the show, so i can't even put them up on secondary market sites yet.

Eastern Redbud leaves going wonky

Planted this last year, bunnies got it over winter, so it is kind of starting over this year. It had been doing well but this morning I noticed some of the leaves are curling in an odd way, and as you can see in this close up, something else is going on. I do not see any bugs.

Does this look like anything of concern, and if so, do you have any thoughts on what to do about it? (The leaves it got last year did not look like this ever.)

Dupage county, IL

It rained like crazy all day yesterday and into last night. Found these in my yard this morning. I have only just heard of dead man's fingers AKA Xylaria polymorpha a few days ago. Is that what this is?

Thank you!
