Archer Weaves Pt.2

After a week of practicing, this is where my archer weaves are at. I run my hand up and down my arm after each spin, even though the tutorials I watch keep the hand close to the face, going over and under the armpit only. Should I keep it that way? I think it’ll help me go into Archer weave fountains easier but any advice is appreciated!

Archer Weaves?

I learned Archer Weaves today but I feel like maybe I’m not bringing my arm close enough to my shoulder? The cadence feels a bit off too so I don’t think it’s giving the effect it should. Am I doing them correctly and just need to keep practicing or is there something off in my technique?

@Happy_Axotol Windmill from weave

Hello Happy_Axotol, I just saw your video and I wanted to show you how I learned to go from a weave to Windmill (I think that’s what I’m doing). Hopefully I’m going slow enough to see how my hands are placed. If anyone has any corrections or suggestions they are very welcome! Much love.

Today’s practice 🧿

One of the tips I got from last video was that I needed to move my feet more. This is my attempt lol still feel awkward but I’m hoping to build my confidence before EDCO 🙏

Hello! Would love some feedback

Hello everyone! I’ve had my first set of poi for about 2 months now. I feel like I’m starting to get the flow of things but I quickly run out of tricks. I’ve found my style (at least with these poi) is to do big movements and try to make it look like two orbs of energy are going crazy around me lol I can’t seem to get some movements down and idk if it’s because of the thin string on these poi or just a lack of skill. Thanks in advanced!
