Late to the party but Chip Zdarsky’s Captain America is really quite good!
I loved the Twilight one-off and this so far is a very good run. How’s his Armageddon so far?

Pure fun sections, pure agonizing challenge sections, one for aesthetics, how would you mix them all together?
Roseanne confronts Dan about his mother.
Hunter main, I’m having a wonderful time just farming all content for all the great armor sets, mixing and matching and trying new builds, getting catalysts for guns, and trying to do content I didn’t do much before like Dungeons and Raids and trying to solo GM. I’m helping blueberries work their way through unfamiliar territory and it’s a good feeling. I don’t have the feel of FOMO anymore, and if I’m being completely honest it’s also kind of a “Screw you Bungie higher management I’m just going to keep playing.” feeling. I am so sad there will be no new content and lore, but going to make the best with what we have, and the June 9 update certainly succeeded spectacularly in giving us Things. To. Do.
In the end, no other game really plays like Destiny does. It just feels that good. I’ll be still playing for a long time to come. And who knows what the future will bring?
See you on the battlefield fellow Guardians.
The total surprise at the start of Season 2
Episode 2 had me shouting in pure fanboy joy and actually clapping my hands.
Or is it simply because the creator Jackson Guice just found it cool and knew others would as well?
Never really done much of them or Raids, looking to finally get going with Dungeons.
My best friend and I re-played Halo CE yesterday, as we do from time to time, and a funny thing happened, we were playing Assault on the Control Room and of course we had the skull on that enhances explosions. I got killed via a stray rocket from my friend on the ground level in an open area of AotCR with a bridge 1000 feet directly overhead and my sniper rifle was thought lost, we looked everywhere and then moved on and about 10 min later entered onto the open air bridge area 1000 feet up and lo and behold there is my sniper rifle stuck through the bottom of the bridge geometry, having flown straight up and embedded itself there for us to find. I was able to pick it up sticking halfway out of the bridge and got it back and we continued on. Never laughed so hard in our lives, we couldn’t believe it.
And this stuff is exactly why we still play Halo 25 years later.
Having Dave Stewart maintain the same amazing color palate throughout no matter who pencils obviously is a factor as well.
I mean, whatever constitutes the “organic” telepathy of a Vulcan mind meld is probably “inferior” in their eyes to the technologically-based collective consciousness so you could probably say they wouldn’t do it. But if they assimilated a Betazoid you’d think they’d be unstoppable if each Betazed drone could invade minds that are unassimilated. Has that been portrayed in any Star Trek medium?
RIP. One last time, Guardian.
