Feminism: The Decline of Relationships, The Rise of Hook-Ups

I saw this post earlier today, https://www.reddit.com/r/itsthatbad/s/FaHJHONSNb and while the OP tried to expand on it, they missed the mark. Then the "feminists" decided to chime in about Red Pill/Manosphere content and some of the comment got a little crazy. So I felt the need to further unpack this issue and perhaps spark a better debate.

First off, Feminism. I agree with the main points of feminism... Equality. However, like many movements, it started with the best of intentions, but as the movement gained more concessions it began to crave more power. Feminism wanted to place women on equal footing as men. Once women were on equal footing financially and in the workplace. They Started looking for other ways that men and women differed, see unequal, and began to make changes to those differences.

Coffin Nail #1: The Sexual Revolution, the beginning of the end of traditional relationships. Women decided that they would move like men sexually. But while the idea was novel at first women seemed to forget that they were the whole reason men were performative in the dating market prior to the sexual revolution. Men HAD to court, they HAD to wait for sexual access, They HAD to show up and be attentive, caring, and present. Because if they did not, they would not gain the access that they wanted. It was women’s restraint that kept most men in check. Once the first shots of the sexual revolution were fired, women’s control started to erode. Thus hook-up culture began to evolve. Slowly at first, but it gained traction quickly. Men began to realize that while relationships, or the obtaining of one might be dead, sex was most definitely still on the table… and for a lot less work. Or at least not as much work as once had to be put in.

Coffin Nail #2: The rise of social media and the start of the gender wars. Social media… what can I say other than it has been the greatest detriment to human society so far. I am quite sure someone is currently thinking of something that will bring greater destruction, but currently social media is the grand champion. And yes, I do see the irony of that statement posting this on Reddit. Social media ties nicely into the first coffin nail. The use of social media allowed women to express their sexual freedom around they world. What was once solely reserved for partners became property of the entire world. It started innocently enough, pictures on Facebook of short skirts and crop tops, but once the likes rolled in it went downhill from there. It was like a drug dealer giving the first taste for free, and then women were hooked, FREE WORLDWIDE VALIDATION. What one man could compete with that kind of attention. With all that attention, egos began to inflate, and the normal man started to seem to be “not quite good enough”. Standards started to rise, why? Comparison is the thief of joy. Women started to see what other women were getting from their men and thought, “I’m better than her… I should be getting that as well.”

Coffin Nail #3: INDEPENDENT BOSS BABE!! The gender wars gave birth to this evolution. Women told other women that men were no longer needed to a fulfilling life. Woman could have it all without a man dragging her down. And most women drank that shit up like Jonestown Kool-Aide. And yes, I agree women do not need men no more than men need women. The problem was that feminism insisted that women had to make this “battle cry” a majority of their personality.

Men watched and listened during all three of these phases. We saw how skewed things were becoming. Men began to complain about these issues. We were told our voices did not matter and that we were not owed anything. There is a common law through out the universe, an immutable truth. Every Action has an equal and opposite reaction.

The “Patriarchy” birthed Feminism… Action, Reaction.

Feminism birthed The Manosphere/Red Pill… Action, Reaction.

We create the monsters that plague us. Modern men had no had in the “Patriarchy”, but modern women damn sure had a hand in creating the manosphere. Go ahead and thank yourselves for that feminists.
