Longtime player here, and I'll be honest: I almost didn't try the Silver Sky because of the 7.25" radius. I'm used to flatter fretboards and was convinced it would be unplayable for me.
What changed my mind is the fret work. The finish on the frets is so good that the radius stops being an issue: bends feel clean, the action can go low, and it's genuinely comfortable. Not what I expected at all.
The sound is very vintage, with that glassy, singing quality you'd hope for. There's also no treble bleed circuit, so the highs roll off when you turn the volume down. It doesn't bother me at all, I just adjust how I use the volume knob.
I recently recorded a Little Wing with it, if you want to hear how it sounds in context:

Anyone else here who was sure the radius would be a problem and changed their mind? And how do you deal with the lack of treble bleed?
