Built for Bio Cup G1 Gauntlet

"And even though most have forgotten the times of past, some lived in the olden days still. Prophets, they called themselves, people of the Matoran Universe speaking of the oncoming horrors. Most inhabitants refused to believe Teridax would, or for the matter of fact could return from his fall. But after a thousand years, the world started to change around them: natural disasters, portals opening up, raids and plundering. Most would not see the connections, even after those things started to descend from the skies. Six legs, a towering figure... They didn't quite resemble anything seen before. The worst was the uncaringness of the creatures, if we can call that them. Never blinking eyes, and all they ever did was drilling the grounds. What could they possibly want from us?"

My entry for the G1 Gauntlet of Bio Cup. The build was originally going to be a centaur like knight, but halfway the overpicture of the build didn't make sense, and I rebuilt it into a virus like creature.

Teridax Class Carrier

Bio-Cup 2021 MOC

Chase for the Mask of Light

"Deep space. A long time ago, forgotten by everyone, a lone Takanuva class starfighter cuts through a godforsaken solar system not mapped on any databases of the Matoran Empire. Interference from the radio disrupts the solitude of the cockpit. The crackling of the intermission hurts the ears of the Toa unit driving the fighter, but he clearly understands a word form it: Avohkii. Could it really be? The Matoran Empire has been searching for years for an ancient artifact bearing the same name. The artifact could restart the GSR Mothership that's been drifting in space for eons, that serves as the home for the Matoran Empire. The Toa wastes no more time to think about it, he quickly starts up his Ussanui Hyperjumper parked nearby in hopes of reaching the mysterious artifact. But he's not the only one who recieved the confusing transmission: a Teridax class carrier of the Makuta clan jumps out of hyperspace, and deploys it's Rhakshi escort fighters! Who will be the one to reach the Avohkii first? Will the GSR Mothership be saved?"

Now that the Bio-Cup insta has announced the new tournament, guessed it was time to do a reshot of my Teridax Class Carrier. I built it for the preliminary round of Bio-Cup 2021, along with a Takanuva Fighter and some Rakshi Drones as well (you can check them out on my profile). The design aspect of both starships involved the original 2003 logos of Makuta and Takanuva (the "T" and the "M"), so that the ships have the same outline.

I'm eagerly waiting the start of the Cup, and hope tgat many others will join as well!

Rakoli, Armoured Hahnah

Rakoli, Armoured Hahnah

"As you walk along the shore, leaving behind the oddities you just saw, you see a small crab-like rahi pulling a net in the sand. You are briefly reminded of the Hahnah that lived on the cliffs of Mahri Nui, but you notice this one looks different. It has a vastly different phisiology, and much-much larger pincers as well. Not being able to identify the creature, you hear glass like clankering coming from its direction. 'What could that be?' you wonder. Getting over a smaller rock embedded into the sand, you now have a clear vision of what's happening. The rahi pulls a net full of glass bottles after itself! You can see the end of the rope tied to its claws. As it slowly advances towards the sea, the cacophony starts to sound more and more like music. 'That can't be really' you mutter to yourself. The waves slowly swallow the rahi. A few minutes pass by, and you start to question your sanity. Have you really seen a crustacean pulling dozens of bottles after itself? Then you see it emerge once more from the saline water, now empty handed. The rahi looks at you, seemingly expressionless as it steps on the shore. It lets out a few chirping and clacking sounds. You can't help, and just ask it: 'Why would a crab need so many bottles?'"

Grimoire

Bio-Cup 2019 MOC

The Grimoire, also known in the common tongue as ''little mouse'' is a small mammalian species, living originally near waterside. Their diet mainly consist of smaller fish and insects, but when food is scarse, they tend to hunt for larger animals in groups, such as domesticated cats.

After being introduced to human lifeforms, Grimoire tended to move into houses, and hunt for the cocroaches and small rodents living inside. Usually you can find one under beds and in the attics, but they can be still found in their original living habitat.

Bohrok Va Kal

"Matapho leaned back in silence on his chair, as he learnt the truth about Bohroks. For a few moments he just sat there in silence but you could see his eyes zigzagging with every thought.

How come there are no Va drones of the Kal variants? - he asked hesitantly. Even so the information was overwhelming, he still tried to fill in the gaps before processing everything.

The Kal was seen only once throughout history, - the matoran answered - so we doesn't really know much about them. We couldn't study them at all, and all we know about them is from eyewitnesses on Mata Nui. There could hipothetically be a Va of them, but there's zero evidence. Ever since the fall of the Great Spirit, the Bahrag queens are dormant, and sealed away from us. Only the skies know what might lurk in the caverns..."

Tahnok Va

(Instagram link)[https://www.instagram.com/p/DZNeaoQjILi/?igsh=M2V4NjA0MW9wbHBi\]

"As you head over to the beach of the island, you see dozens of colourful drones running around, working, carrying all sorts of metal pieces. You correctly identify them as Bohrok Va-s, but you can't seem to understand how they would wound up here. You wonder, on a remote and so scarcely populated island as this one is, how so many of these little constructs end up, yet you haven't seen a single Bohrok during your stay. Moreso, they don't seem to work for their destined purpose. As you get closer to them, you notice they are even more odd then you thought, as most seem to have swapped weapons, improvised tools, and some seem to be constructed from multiple individuals, and some have off colours. One of them, a Tahnok Va stops at your feet. The small critter seems intrested in you. You notice it's staff has been swapped for a spear like blade. As it stares at you, making some chirping sounds, you notice a Krana on it's back, yet you wonder why haven't it tried to throw it on your face?"

Wiripakitara, Nui Kopen Queen

(Instagram link)[https://www.instagram.com/p/DZGIAsoDOmr/?igsh=MTNwajUzdTVqd2Rm\]

"As you descend into the heart of the nest built into the middle of the jungle, countless corpses of Nui Rama mark your path where you came from. You know turning back would only postpone the oncoming massacre. But the thought of delving deeper makes your heart sink into the darkest pits of your chest. The horror of what might be lurking at the center makes you hesitant, and the delay only makes you an easier target here. You know you are long after the point of no return, and yet every inch of your being screams in denial. Have you really prepared your eyes for what they might see in a few moments?"

A few days ago I decided to take apart a lot of my older mocs for parts. We are talking about dozens of models I never had to the time to take apart. And after hours of sorting, some constructions were so close to my heart, that I didn't want to get rid of them. And after a few hours of trial and error, I started to see a new outline of them. I had a plasma rifle capacitor to use as a toxin tank, I used up the parts of a former Nui rama revamp, the not yet disassembled parts of Crabtaur, and I also used some parts of a small turtle rahi and a mini rakshi as well.

I have hours of trial and error in this build. For the tube I had to come up with a solution that mostly resembles the mechanics of a ziplock, but the hardest part was making it stand on the small jungle biome I made for it. But what matters is that it stands.

Pure being of energy, transcendent force of nature

Translucent//Transcendent

So I had this idea of creating a character that is both lit up from the inside, and made of (mostly) translucent pieces. On the second photo I used my adjustable light to try and create a blacklight-like effect, and on the last pic you can see how I inserted the leds, and some techinques I used in the build.
