I honestly think Alois is such a fascinating character, and I wish the whole season had been about him instead of bringing back the s1 cast. It could've been like a spin-off, since it's not based on the manga anyway...

So, the story of the book was that Yellowfang had another son after Brokenstar (idk who the father was, but he might've been from RiverClan), and that son was Mintwhisker. Mintwhisker grew up in ThunderClan, and he became a kind and compassionate warrior, but he was always confused and troubled by his origins. He got into a fight with Brokenstar, his half-brother, and lost, barely escaping with his life and sustaining a bunch of scars. That set him on the path of revenge, and he became determined to take down the tyrannical Brokenstar once and for all...
Yeeeaaaahhh, it was a weird dream. I just can't see Yellowfang getting into a relationship and having kits again after what happened last time, and I don't even remember what kind of role she had in the novel lol

Magical Karina was one I hadn’t heard of before discovering it on the shelf, and apparently, it only started being released in English this year. I can really relate to Karina, my maternal grandmother also had Alzheimer’s. also, the art direction is super cute!!
And Magical Girl Dandelion has such a cool premise and awesome designs! I’ve only just started reading it, but I just KNOW it’s gonna be a banger!!
(I hope Karina and Dandelion get anime adaptations, but if I’m gonna be realistic, Dandelion seems more likely to get one than Karina)

Reborn Rising is a story years in the making, though not always in this form. The characters originated from a story called Shattered Stardust, my first attempt at posting original fiction, rather than fanfiction, on the web. It was the story of Ileana Grace, a quiet, uncertain girl who wound up inheriting her grandmother’s role as a magical warrior tasked with fighting the organization called Terminus and the monsters they ripped straight from nightmares. As a huge fan of magical girls even back in high school, I wanted to write my own take on the subgenre, specifically taking inspiration from HeartCatch Pretty Cure and Nurse Angel Ririka SOS.
Being an overwhelmed eleventh grader still reeling from spending an entire school year trying to learn remotely due to COVID-19, I only ever completed five chapters of that story, and looking back on it now makes me cringe a little. Still, certain elements and characters intrigue me to this day, especially the planned ending that I never got to.
Essentially, Reborn Rising is a sequel to a work that fizzled out before it could really get on its feet. However, no knowledge of Shattered Stardust is needed in order to enjoy it. Ileana’s story, along with other tales lost to the sands of time, is gradually told through dialogue, flashbacks, and the like.
I'm super happy to have reached this milestone! I've been updating faster and more consistently lately, and I feel like I'm really making progress.
I enjoy writing Olen, he's a menace to society and I love him lol
