I-26 EB just NW of Columbia SC. I count myself lucky the tire stayed on the wheel. At least I get to avoid that additional expense. Tire still had plenty of tread and everything. Just gave up the ghost (or got traumatically punctured).

This is the experience I've always dreaded. Friends, it was as bad as I expected but I feel quite certain it could have been much much worse.

Parked on the roadside breakdown lane now waiting for Michelin to get out to me.

PS: the number of Class-As not moving over even when they have plenty of room is too goddamn high. Be considerate of your fellow drivers and working men from roadside repair crews for fuck's sake!

Shelving unit/table that fits PS seat area in a Freightliner Cascadia?

Fixing to shift my PS throne over to the DS to replace the crumbling, rotten seat I've been using for 3y straight.

Does anyone know of any ready-made shelves, table &c that fit perfectly in the PS area without blocking mirror visibility &c? Something from IKEA perhaps? I could build something to spec but thought I'd put it out there before going to the trouble, especially in light of the Walmart drawer storage unit that fits suspiciously perfectly into the Cascadia hanging locker phenomenon.

If not no biggie. Thanks for reading/considering/sharing your experiences.
