Name suggestions 😊😁😉

We brought home this little guy on Monday and we're stuck on a name.

He was born April 24, 2026, and currently weighs a mighty 5 lbs 2 oz.

He's our newest Mini Schnauzer and already has a big brother named Tomyris, who absolutely adores him. They've bonded much faster than we expected.

We're torn between two names:

Wynric

A combination of my wife Wyn's name and mine

Unique and meaningful to us.

Kind of has a fantasy/medieval vibe.

Jax Pollock

Inspired by Jackson Pollock

He looks like someone took a paintbrush and flicked black paint all over a white schnauzer

Fun and easy to remember

Personality-wise, he's surprisingly calm, sweet, and laid back for a puppy, though he's still very young and may have some surprises in store for us.

So what do you think?

Team Wynric? Team Jax Pollock? Or do you have another name suggestion that fits a calm, paint-splattered little schnauzer?

Bonus points if the name sounds good alongside his big brother's name, Tomyris.

Thanks! 🐾❤️ 😍👌👍👆

Estrogen gave me my brain back. How do I get my libido back?

I'm hoping for some direction from those of you who have successfully gotten testosterone prescribed.

I'm 56, had a hysterectomy at 37 (ovaries retained), and I'm fully postmenopausal. I've been on estrogen for about a year now, and honestly it's been life-changing. My brain fog is gone, no more Deadpool powers surges (literally that's who I resemble when I would have a hot flash), my joint pain is gone, and overall I feel much more like myself again.

I got my brain back with estrogen. Now I'm trying to figure out if there's a way to get my libido back too.

The one area that hasn't improved much is libido and sexual interest. I love my spouse dearly, but my desire is basically nonexistent, and I'd really like to feel connection again.

I've asked my primary care doctor about testosterone, but she isn't comfortable prescribing it. As I read posts here, it seems like many of you have had success with testosterone therapy.

My question is..... what type of doctor did you see to get evaluated? An OB/GYN? Menopause specialist? Endocrinologist? Someone else?

I'm in Dallas, Texas, if that matters. I'm not looking for online clinics that hand it out without evaluation. I'd like to find a knowledgeable doctor who can discuss the risks, benefits, lab work, etc.

For those who are using testosterone, how did you find the doctor who helped you?

Thanks for any input and/or guidance.

Sunday Morning Puppysage

Benefits of puppysauge (puppy + massage): a calm mind, a relaxed body, and quality bonding.

Side effects: becoming unbearably adorable, limp puppy syndrome, excessive sighing and requiring additional puppysage sessions. 🥰🐾

Today is the day!!!

It was NOT the day. 😂🤣🙄❤️😍

Tomyris has never caught a squirrel. This has not affected his confidence.

My schnauz "helping" with my puzzle. 🤣😍👆

  1. What you doing mom? Can I help?

  2. Let me inspect this more closely. (Very upset that the puzzle board means I can't sit on Mom's lap.)

  3. Yep, you're doing it right. My work here is done, time for a nap.

Tomyris insisted on helping with my puzzle. I took pictures because he was so adorable, slowly inching his way want to be on my lap.

Apparently "helping" means claiming the best blanket, supervising for five minutes, and then clocking out for a nap.

Battery @ 1% please stand by 🤣

Adorableness! The only way I can can describe it. I blurred myself out of the background so I can have it framed.

Backstory..... Tomyris, this tiny man got a new baby pool, you know the blue plasticy ones. We just spent the better part of the last hour, splashing/digging on it, bobbing for tennis balls and trying to eat our own bubbles. He's my first water schnauzer and I'm enjoying the heck out of it. I've owned 3 before him and water was a naughty word to them.

Now this is him after a hard shift of aquatic chaos. Battery: 1% 😁😂📸😎

I thought a sprinkler would be good exercise.

I thought I was adding a little fun and exercise to his day. Apparently I unlocked hidden factory settings.

Have you watered your schnauzer today?

My first ever schnauzer that LOVES water. Not “likes splashing.” Not “enjoys a puddle.” No. This tiny mustached lunatic believes he was born as an otter and accidentally issued the wrong body.

I thought schnauzers were supposed to be little old men that judge your life choices from the couch.

Nobody warned me mine would identify as a submarine torpedo.

If I shower without shutting the bathroom door, he’s in the tub trying to co-bathe like we split the water bill together. This dog hears running water and materializes out of nowhere like Beetlejuice with eyebrows.

Walk near a lake, pond, creek, or suspiciously damp ditch? I need a short lead because this furry torpedo will absolutely launch himself into the water like he just got activated for a Navy mission. (Veteran Navy Corpsman here.)

I bought him a kiddie pool and he stood there barking at the hose because it wasn’t filling fast enough. Sir. It has been FOURTEEN SECONDS.

The level of outrage this dog has over water pressure is honestly impressive.

At this point I don’t own a schnauzer. I own a highly opinionated aquatic cryptid with a beard.

I’m fully convinced that if I dropped him into the ocean, he’d emerge three days later captaining a shrimp boat named the S.S. Schnauzer.
