How it feels seeing shifters say methods are stupid + they’re not what make you shift and you don’t need them when their first shift was with a method
“Methods are just tools” “methods don’t make you shift, it’s the assumption that they do is what makes you shift” so they work?? Does an artist stand before a model, painting again and again, knowing they can do without? Why would they do so—if not to improve? Is an artist restricted to the pencil when they can move just as freely with the pen? Are we denouncing that mathematicians use calculators because there are few who can do it all in their heads? Does an engineer ignore blueprints about mechanics that eludes them?
A student must see for themselves what path they must choose—which form they shall take when their time comes to pass. Who are we to deny them the tools they deem fit for their lives?
