I guess this kinda counts as fan-art?

I've been experimenting on making racing liveries based on the G1 race outfits. I've also tuned all of them to a relatively equal level. Some of them are relatively straightforward and easy to replicate, but some details are really finicky to include.

I've decided to make the race number based on their birthdays, though this might have to be changed when there's too many with the same day

I'm also undecided on whether or not I should

• include hair pattern and color on either the roof or the windshield banner
• have the side mirrors be colored by ear ornaments (like Suzuka's covers)
• Have the wheel color based on either the footwear or the legwear

Some notes and details I remember to point out right away

• Haru Urara doesn't have a race number to reflect the more "casual" career, the car being only used in Kei car races. Also in that pic she's in rally spec with dirt tires
• Rudolf-Teio-Kitasan-NSX's reflect nicely the "generational inspiration" the characters give each other
• Vodka-Subaru and DaiSca-Mitsubishi are perfect rivalry pairing. I chose DaiSca as Mitsubishi because it's slightly bulkier at the front, and I had Subaru's official Blue on hand, adding to the friendship aspect
• Gold Ship Supra has an engine from Lexus LFA, which is the McQueen-car, making that same heritage connection the characters have
