Can you defer exam for medication side effects?

I recently started antidepressants, and unfortunately, I've had awful side effects. I've had a lot of the general physical effects, along with anxiety/ panic attcks (never had this issue before). I have an exam very soon, and ik i wont be able to sit in and focus on the exam.

Can I submit a self-declaration to defer an exam using medication side effects as the reason, or would this get rejected? What other options/ reasons could I put in to defer the exam that won't get rejected, as I def wont be able to write in a few days?

Any advice is deeply appreciated!

mental health/ medication as reason to deferr exam?

I was recently percribed anti depressants and started taking them. Unfortunately, I've been having some not-so-great side effects and have an exam in a few days, so I'm planning to defer it (awful timing, ik). In this case, can I just do a self-declaration and state medication-related side effects as the reason, or would they reject me for using that as a reason since idk if that'd count as a "short-term illness"? Similarly, would I have to show proof that it's a medication issue, idk what I'd show other than my prescription, tbh.

I deferred an exam last sem due to illness, so idk if they'll accept me deferring another exam in a row for "sickness" as the reason unless I give specifics. Any advice would really help!

What happens if a deferred exam request rejected?

Im debating on deferring an upcoming exam and im worrried about it getting rejected. If it is rejected what happens after that? Am i able to fight it or am I just screwed and fail the class? I have a decent grade in the class but dont think ill be ready to write the exam hence wwhy ii want to deffer, u dot want to risk failing when ik I can do better.

Similarily, for a self deferral if I put the reason for the deferral as illness/ mental health will they accept that or will they make me provide proof, like a doctors note or proof of mental health issues? If they want proof would sending them a picture of my perscription or medication be suffice?

Any advice is deeply appreciated!

Deffering an exam thats a prerequisite?

I have an exam coming up and im debating on deferring it. The issue is its a prerequisite for a class im registered in for the fall. If I defer this exam (and its accepted) will i automatically be kicked out of the fall class since I didnt tecnically finish the prerequisite class or will it still let me stay in the class without penalty?

Any advice is deeply appreciated as im worried ill be kicked from the next class if I defer the upcoming exam and that'd set me back a lot academically.

Accidentally opened copilot during comas exam. What to do

I recently just finished an online exam and it has stuff related to math and calculations. I was using my calculator and put it on my laptop near the keyboard area and it pressed my copilot button on my laptop and triggered it to turn on. I immediatly closed it and it was opened for maybe 3 seconds max (didnt type anything or touch it just closed it right away) but idk what to do now. Should I email the prof and explain the situation? Will I get flagged for academic misconduct and will they disqualify my test? I lowkey think I did well on the test too so I really dont wanna get in trouble and lose the mark or get expelled over an honest mistake.

Any advice is VERY appreciated im freaking out rn.

How wide is comas camera lense?

I have an exam on comas coming up and im wondering how wide the camera is. Is the camera angle and what's visible through it the same as if u were to open your regular laptop camera or does comas have a wider lense and see more? If it is wider how much wider and how much more is visible? Im trying to figure it out so ik what to wear lol (how much skin I need to cover).

Also is the ID verification thing new? Ive never seen it before but it gave me some notice about some ID check when I was testing the software and ive never seen that before. Does it wanna see my actual student id or just take a Pic of my face?

What gets tracked on Comas?

Ive got a test on comas coming up and im wondering what exactly they track/ see when your writing? I have family over the day of my test so my house is gonna be loud and im worried itll overhear people in the background and flag me for cheating or something. Similarily I talk to myself when writing tests and dont want that to get flagged as me somehow cheating either. Additionally, if I look down to use a calculator and write stuff on scrap paper will that get flagged as well?

Ive never done a comas exam at home before so idk how its different from in person comas and what they track/ consider cheating. Any advice would be great

Are these dresses appropriate for work?

For referance im a second year co-op student and this is my first ever corporate job and first time working in a government office. I was told the dress code is "bussiness casual" and that I dont need to dress up too much in the summer. I got a few dresses (attached in post) and im wondering if they'd be appropriate to wear on my in person days if I put a t shirt underneath.

Similarily if anyone has any advice or tips on what to wear in the summer id really appreciate it. Its starting to hit 30°c and I bus to work so im genuinly dying from the heat. I still want to look good and make a good impression but idk what to wear that dosnt make me sweat in the heat.

How do catalog year/ course calander updates work

Im a incoming 3rd year Bcom student and for my degree recently some updates have been made and some of the old course codes are being changed and new 1s are being added instead. Its the same classes and content just with new codes and sequences. Ive taken some classes using the new codes and the others i plan to take with the old codes frim when i first started my degree. Im wondering how this works since my audit uses the old course codes for my degree so if I complete classes with the new codes will it not count for my degree requirments? Similarily will i be unable to graduate if I dont update the year and use the new codes for everything? If i do update will this push back my graduation date and make me incapable of taking classes using the old codes even if they are still avalible to sign up for? Overall im super confused what updating does and how this will impact me. Any help is deeply appreciated!

How easy to cheat on final exam?

Idk if its a degree thing but I see/ hear about kids cheating in my program all the time. Ive even seen kids with phones out or talking to friends during exams and no one says anything and the profs dont seem to notice. Ive even seen kids pull out phones in the bathroom are they just going undetected constantly?

Do these people actually get caught and in trouble or are they just getting away with it cause the profs dont "see" it?

Cheating/ pat down during exams

Ive noticed that when u need to go to the bathroom during exams they'll sometimes pat down students and check their shoes/ cloths for phones and stuff. Even if they do this wouldn't it be easy to just put your phone or written notes in your bra or boxers and then just take it out in the bathroom anyways? Like if its in those areas odds are they wont even see/ feel it during the pat down so couldn't people still cheat anyways?

BUSI 2301 Exam

Ive got the final exam for this class coming up and im wondering if anyone can tell me what to expect on the final? What type of questions should I be practicing (especially for long answer questions) that'll help me prepare the best? Is the final similar to the tests or different?

Any advice/ tips are appreciated!
