I'm currently big into Guitar Wolf. I recently discovered Eins:Vier and came to vkei through the more gothic albums from Buck-Tick.

Now I'm curious if there are bands that have a more typical punk sound. I'm not sure if there is any overlap with vkei, so some recommendations would be amazing.

Hey, there are quite a few great brands like Tokai and Greco that produced neat clones in the 80s, but mostly regular guitars and basses.

Do you know about some brands that produced the VI that are on the same quality level?

The big advantage on the non VIs was always the value, but i can't find non fender VIs from japan
