NTU vs UK uni

I am an international who did Uk A levels. Got 4A*s in CIE O/N25

Got my NTU offer a few minutes ago with the subsidized Tuition.

However, since the NTU offer took long, we already proceeded with a UK uni. My parents already started the visa process and have paid a tuition and accommodation deposit of around 1000£ and the visa process 4000£(with 4 year immigration health surge)

I am kinda scared to tell my parents about the NTU offer. Though the NTU tuition is 1/3(a third) of the annual UK uni tuition. My parents say they are willing to pay for the UK uni….but i feel like having this lower tuition will raise a big load off their shoulders.

I feel like we have already gone a long way in preparing for the UK uni and visa application…including all the money we have paid so far.

What should i do omds

Walking from Fallowfield to uni daily

I just got assigned Ashburne Hall and i am wondering whether walking from Fallowfield to uni everyday(or most days) is possible. Is there anyone that does it? Especially during winter. Good way to get steps in🤷🏾‍♀️

If not, how much is a bus pass or a bike pass(if that exists)

International offers to NTU

Besides those whose offers were released in March(eg those with Vietnamese qualifications),
have any A level or IB internationals received offers from NTU yet?

And have any internationals received the scholarships or the MOE tuition Grant

CAS

Hey
Just got my unconditional firm offer from Manchester and filled my Right to Study Check 2 days ago.

How long does it usually take to receive the draft CAS from the time the Right to Study Check has been completed

Thanks

NTU offers with UK A levels qualification

Has anyone that applied to Nanyang Tech Uni Singapore with UK A levels qualifications or International qualifications received their admissions decision for NTU….i am worried that the decision could come out in July and I need to have made a Uni choice before then!

I am looking for the experiences of black students at Dublin City Uni. Since a couple of people told me that they did not have a very pleasant time.

Incase you or your friends could share your experiences….both good and bad, it’d be lovely.

And also comparing DCU to UCC, Limerick, Trinity in this same context.

Thanksssss
