If the CCP didn't stop the Fate collaboration from happening, why do you think Evanescia was suddenly pushed down from the main push? Was it really necessary to completely scrap everything?
Four+ months ago, everyone was expecting a Sakura expy to be the main push because of her popularity. I think because she is popular, so leakers just guessed that Evanescia would be the main push. There was no news about Silver Wolf from leakers and people thought she wouldn't be important, so they didn't bother to reveal anything other than her Erudition path. People back then discuss Evanescia more than Silverwolf. She wasn't just a random character, she is an expy too yet no one bothered. The fact that the leakers somehow guessed the Evanescia animation even before Ashviel makes it even harder to believe.
Notice that the leaker said Erudition? Guess what, Himeko Nova is the actual Erudition main push character, which raises even more suspicion. I think they were playing a prediction game, and when they were proved wrong, they immediately went into defense mode and used the CCP incident as a shield.
People will bring up Mortis as the leaker. No, Mortis wasn't the original leaker; he just passed that leak along. Mortis also said Sparkle would be a main DPS, and look how badly that aged. I am not saying the CCP didn't censor some map areas or the story, but claiming the entire Evanescia character got pushed down from being the main push is just hard to believe and impractical, especially since they had so little time
