Im a quant aspirant. Is it really a good path to join as a bsc statistics student in BHU or should i look for anything?

Im looking for ug degrees/universities that suits the path to join as a quantitative trader. I missed my shot in JEE so I know a lot of people would say IITs but are there any other universities? Which ug degrees would you suggest? It may be Bsc or Btech.
