My wife is moving to Vancouver for her job. Currently we live in Atlanta and I am remote GM employee. I’ve noticed that GM has quite a few remote employees, so I was wondering if anyone knows whether working remotely from Canada is allowed.

I’m planning to discuss this with my manager, but I’d also love to hear from anyone who has taken a similar move or knows someone who has. Is this something GM allows since this will be international move?

Hi! I'm planning to move to India for about a year due to a family health situation.

I'm currently a U.S. employee and on H-1B. I'm thinking of asking my manager if I could temporarily transfer to India and continue working remotely on India payroll.

Do you know of anyone at GM who has done something similar?

Would I be able to move to the India payroll if I continue to work the same hours as my U.S. team?

Or are there other options?

I'd appreciate any insights or experiences you can share.

But today's episode was so confusing

She is not a saint for sure and she accepts it, which is great

Today they edited the episode in such a way that the sequence of events was not clear.

They didn't show us the conversation where shreya and rebel talked about chamola and shreya's secret

See i understand rebel was playing since she made a cunning face to camera while hugging shilpaji

But

1. Shreya so loudly said yesterday that she will reveal chamola's secret

2. Shreya was trying to gain sympathy by talking about her brother's engagement- and I can understand her anger kind of reaction towards akc because shreya cant show her emotional side to the world and such people try to hide behind anger to look and feel strong

3. I am just confused if she really got influenced and didn't accept it, did she even ask akc to not reveal her secret or what happened?

4. And if she got influenced, why didn't she accept it because she always does

I have been bullied in my childhood and these episodes are too much sometimes

Shilpa was very wrong when she talked about Shivangi's virginity but rebel is adding masala and making it even worse

Apoorva is adding masala, giving her inputs and shreya was definitely trying to calm things down but rebel has a problem when she is talking but she and harshad can talk

1. Rebel wasted a lot of money a day before on bathroom, food and other stuff... when shreya tried to point it, rebel said dont order me... even chaudhari was nice here

2. When shilpa was helping harshad, Shivangi said she cant help... harshad didnt say anything, no one made it an issue specially rebel and when 25k were cut, rebel created such a big scene including ram sir who can just speak against shilpa

Shilpa was wrong here but she is really a different person when it comes to food and we all know that

Chamola, varun, chaudhari all said that it is everyone's duty but ram and rebel were so loud and targeting shilpa along with everyone

Even though Shreya is my favorite, I don't think she'll win the show. I agree with Sufi—she'll most likely make it to the finale but end up as the runner-up.

If Dheeraj continues playing the way he did today, he has a very strong chance of winning.

My biggest concern is Shreya's equation with Shilpa. If she continues spending too much time with her, I feel it could be used against her. They might even use that narrative during the finale week, saying she never truly stood up to Shilpa or that her opposition wasn't strong enough.

Right now, it doesn't feel like the makers want Shreya to be the winner.

Wondering if the mid-year review process has already started.

I saw a Reddit post mentioning that people are already being ranked, and now I’m getting anxious.

I haven’t received any negative feedback from my manager so far.

In fact, I recently got recognition from him on the Achievers forum along with another teammate. But since it was group recognition, I’m not sure how much to read into it.

Honestly, I personally don’t feel like I’ve done exceptional work this year, but at the same time, the overall work/projects assigned to most of the team haven’t been that impactful either.

That’s what’s making me wonder:

1.Does someone always end up getting the lowest ranking regardless?

2.If the whole team had an average year, how do managers decide who goes to the bottom?

3.Does no negative feedback usually mean you’re relatively safe?

4.When do managers typically communicate concerns, if there are any?

Just trying to understand how this process usually works.
