Clutch Bleeding - 93' Niva 1.6.
What's the best method for bleeding the clutch cylinders on my 93 niva? I've tried both regular, and reverse bleeding, but I'm not convinced I've purged all the air.
The workshop manual (see attached photo) asks for the clutch pedal to be depressed when tightening the bleeder union at the end of bleeding. What's the purpose for this?
The manual also asks for the free travel of the pedal to be 0.1-2mm (adjusted by the pedal stop). Later on, it says the free travel ought to be 25-35mm. Why the two measurements? Does anybody have a guide on how to adjust the pedal stop?
Cheers.
