I'm trying to not use the overused and over powered builds I've seen on here and be a little unique. What I've brainstormed that sounds decent in theory is hunter 7/hexblade 5 as a frontliner. Go with ranger knight for heavy armor, get resistances to 2 damage types with wasteland wanderer (3 if you choose to be a tiefling), and multi attack defense. With hexblade's shield proficiency you should easily make it to 25 AC by end game where you could go with the chest piece that grants blade ward for resistance to 6 damage types total and the cloak that basically grants blur until you are hit for even more survivability, not to mention the extra attack stack for at least respectable damage. Bc bg3 doesn't have requirements for armor other than just being proficient with it all you'd have to do is sink points in Cha and Con.
