Hi y’all! Thank you collectively for being such a wonderful community to lurk in over the years for the queer joy of wedding photos, and for being a great resource and source of reassurance for many complicated family-related feelings recently as my partner and I start to plan our big gay wedding.

I know the sub has links to general LGBT vendor resources but many of them seem to be a little older, sparse on the recommendations, or non-specific about the vendor’s experience working with the community. So, I’m posting in hopes of hearing directly from the folks here!

If you’ve gotten married in the DMV area in the past few years or if you are a vendor, I’d love recommendations for day-of coordinators, photographers, bakers, florists, wedding dress stores/boutiques, and DJs. Extra points if they are LGBTQ owned and/or if they’ve worked with nonbinary people before. Our wedding will be ~120-150 people in spring 2028, about 30 minutes outside Baltimore city.
