Cute lil garden buddy

Just chilling on my walking onion bulbil. No clue what kind of spider or the sex, but adorable either way.

Should I be proud this also grew?

Been working on making my front and back yard as green and flourishing as possible since about the end of February. Just noticed this guy today while pulling weeds, I think it's a puffball, but don't really know. Should I be happy it's there given how crummy standard dirt (see 3rd photo) in Northern Nevada is? It's growing in a non-worked area of my garden, but still in the path of the sprinklers.

Edit to add, the sprores that came out after stick poking were orange

Question - Can you figure out which type of plum tree it is by fruit description and bark coloring?

Context - When I was a kid, a neighbor had a plum tree that we were allowed to take the fruit from on the branches that grew over to our side of the fence. The tree is now dead, so I can't take a picture and search for the type. I don't remember what the flowers or leaves looked like. The bark right now is kinda grey/silver and dark brown in the naturally occurring cracked areas. When it produced fruit the skin was purple/red and the meat was red. They normal size compared to what one could buy at a store. I'm assuming it could self pollinate, as it was the only plum tree within a few blocks (they did have an apricot and I believe a nectarine tree planted next to it).

From the research I've done just based on the fruit and what can grow here, a Burgundy Plum is the closest match, but I have no clue if that's what it was. I'd love to figure out which type it was so I can get one. Any help is greatly appreciated, thank you!
