Advance English or Standard English

Hey guys.
I’m in year 11
I am tossing on turning whether or not if I should drop to English standard.
Currently my marks are in the 40-60%. I can tell you guys I have definitely not been studying… Including all my other subjects. I love English a lot, but unfortunately this year is not my academic year. I don’t know what I should do.
I feel like advance English and standard English are the same, except Adv is more analytical is more dependent on the context of the text.
And if I try hard hopefully I can get the results I want.
I’m not a bad writer (I hope), when I was younger my skills were immaculate, but obviously time does change.
Help.

Class Management

Hello everyone.
I am a swimming instructor of “school aged” kids in a program pool, where I’m in waist height water with my students. This particular class that I am struggling with consists of three children…
Let’s call them Subject: A, B, C

With subject A, in nice terms she is a brat… though I feel bad for her but I cannot control her. She never listens to me even… if I take each lap as a fun game or as a “must-do” thing, she will never do it either way.

With Subject B and C there are ok swimmers which I want them to improve by constantly practicing their skill with laps, but I cannot assist them with subject A messing around and not contributing to the class.

Even if I sit her out she will still proceed to jump into the water and cause a chaos. Her mother is understanding… if she gets off limits we give her a few chances, then after she is out. Though I do not like it because I still want her to improve as well. It’s a struggle managing two kids that need to swim and another who cannot.

I would say I can call another teacher for assistance but still she would make more of a chaos… it’s something I have to do “on my own”

By any chance is there advice that you guys could give me in order to manage my class, that caters for all students. As I have a limit amount of experience, and I want the best for my students.

Thank you so much.
