FatCat and co - TNT listens to us, let's figure out how to send our message!
I made a thread 3 weeks back about how I love a batch of old Spooky Petpets which had been removed a long time ago. On Thursday, I made a seemingly unrelated thread because I was curious to see what the r/neopets users' "dream" item is and to my surprise, 5 comments expressed that the petpet 'Fat Cat' topped their wishlist!
I have a small update! One commenter made me realize I hadn't looked through the News Archive - and I found the news from the Week of October 7, 2002! It says, "You may notice some of the less popular (and less scary) Spooky Petpets being updated to new improved versions. Don't panic, not all the Halloween petpets are changing, and we think you'll like the new look Petpets much better! " So here's our story - the old TNT didn't think we liked these petpets so they just decided to delete them... as if Neopia isn't an oasis for items that aren't highly in demand. Well, these petpets ARE in demand with a larger userbase!
I feel as though there is enough support for this and I believe if we make our voice heard, TNT would give us all of these Spooky Petpets back - maybe for Halloween this year (if not much, much earlier)! I have already (once) submitted a request to the NT Editorial and this is now my 2nd recent thread about the issue - what else can we do to let TNT hear our voices? It's been 24 years!

Pride Prismatics - Gay men's color backlash?
Hello, I understand there was some "backlash" regarding the inclusion of the Gay Men's pride flag color scheme for the Prismatic pet styles. If you feel comfortable responding while being respectful of everyone, would you please help me understand what the situation is? I am disappointed and most likely won't be buying any of these because my preferred option isn't available. Please understand I am ignorant on this topic and do not intend to offend anyone by expressing interest in this. Thank you!

What theme or Horror sub-genre are you itching for?
There has been a ton of great horror over the last few years but what are you waiting for from a "Hereditary" or "Weapons" level film? For me, it's got to be a good alien invasion/abduction film. I really enjoyed The Fourth Kind when it first came out, Dark Skies was okay. Color out of Space was interesting I guess and I saw that one movie where the girl fights the alien in her house for an hour and half but I want to see a film where someone knocks it out of the park.
I'd also love to see something else that focuses on dark magick or rituals in different light than what we've seen lately.
What horror itch do you need scratched?

The Big Beautiful Bmail
Hey, so I've been playing Neopets for a lot of years now and I am very glad to speak out about things I dislike and why I dislike them, as I think many of us are. I try to take the big picture into account instead of solely reacting the moment something happens and it isn't my favorite.
I want to give credit to Dom for the email that went out the other day because I feel like a lot of the communication as far back as the YouTube Lives has always been pretty vague and flakey. This plot has... not been the best by any means. But reading Dom's take on it has really helped me see it in a different light. He sounds as if he has made a genuine connection with this final installment and he talked in specifics about his plans to make future content better in a way which feels extremely promising to me, as it also comes with a series of updates and features that I believe are making the site better.
I hope that this continues on because when the site is valued as a whole, I'm a lot more inclined to purchase NC items and Pet Styles and I think that's the case for most of us. I think the current portion of the plot reflects a different level of investment in our experience and I'm just feeling really hopeful that Neopets is about to have a glow up. Please don't let us down, Dom! (And gimme one-a-them Void Peas, would ya?)

I will sometimes change my theme to celebrate something but for the most time, I use the same theme (s) year round. Which site theme do you use for the majority of your time on the site?
Personally, I'm Haunted Woods on the updated site and Tales of Woe for the pages with the old layout. Spooky all day but I loooove the pops of neon green in the ToW layout.
