Any of you wear wigs?
I was sick in December 2025 with double pneumonia. I was stuck in the hospital during Christmas I spent almost two weeks in the icu with three different antibiotics through the iv and steroids given to me daily and breathing treatments every few hours. When I finally got home it was a struggle to get back to the way I was. Doc sent me home with oxygen for 8 weeks and breathing treatments.
I noticed when I would brush my hair that I wasn’t shedding at all. When it was time to do a follow up with my doc and the pulmonologist I mention the no shedding and they both said I’m about to go through TE. Well by the end of March/April the shedding started. I will lose hand fulls of hair but yet I’m not bald…yet. My hair is super thin now and I hate it. I’m thinking about buying a good wig.
Have any of you opted for a wig? If so where did you get yours?
