My Q6 Ultra arrived today - my first Keychron keyboard.

If I type any word that has repeating characters in sequence, like 'missing' (or my bloody Windows password), 50% of the time, the keyboard doesn't register the second keypress and it sees 'mising'. It does this with all characters, not just s.

It does it on wireless and wired. I have updated the firmware and I have tried all the polling rates. I've tried it on another PC running Linux thereby ruling out PC hardware & OS.

Is my keyboard just DOA? I searched about this issue and saw something about 'debounce' (though not on the Q6 Ultra specifically) - but honestly, I'm inclined to take the view that if it's that much faff and bollocks just to be able to type a word in, then I should just return it to Amazon and try something else.

Does anyone else have this issue on a Q6 Ultra?

I have several HM chairs in my house nowadays (3 Aeron & 1 Embody), but it is my oldest Aeron's birthday today.

16 years. And still flawless. I genuinely can't tell the difference between it and the newer Aeron we have (3 years old).

I know they're expensive but damn, I won't buy any other chair.
