I think that PATM is not contagious, otherwise with all the people we’ve been around for years there would be millions of infected people around the world, whether from public transport, neighborhoods, or work. We were probably infected by eating something or by a medication / drug/ substance

I think gases like toluene and pheromones excite demodex mites, mine and others’. I feel bites on my skin, hair, and eyes. People far away scratch and cough. Mites don’t jump that far, but gases/pheromones could trigger the ones people already have
