I am looking to move to Riverside, Jax FL in early November this year for personal reasons. I will be visiting for about a week in September to explore the city and look at places that offer short-term leases (2-3 months) so I can get situated to the city and tour appts I plan on living long-term.

What areas do you recommend I explore to get a feel of the city? Also, looking to make a checklist on things I should do to prepare/make my move in November easier while visiting. Any advice helps!

I want to move to Jacksonville, FL before my lease ends in October (I live in TN). What steps do I need to take such as networking on LinkedIn or agencies that assist in helping you get jobs before? I feel like jobs won’t hire me if I don’t live there but then apartments want proof of income. I’m wanting to fly out there in September to look at apartments but also need some jobs in mind so I can prioritize apartments in their area. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I’m a legal assistant and make 50k a year but am worried apartments won’t let me just show savings bc they want to see proof of income. I’m stuck please help!!
