You can check for carbon buildup without taking off the supercharger

Carbon buildup is inevitable and I’d like to check how bad it is so I can bundle it with other work that takes off the supercharger, but I don’t wanna remove the damn thing just to check. All the videos I found remove it.

But I just did a check without removing the supercharger. Only had to remove 4 torx screws and wiggle the boost pressure sensor out (circled red, 1st pic).

Stick a boroscope in there and you can see the top of the intake valve.

Flooded site personal equipment/clothes

Well, El Nino is coming and I live in an area where lots of coastal flooding is expected. I'll probably be stacking sandbags in knee high water and wading through water waist high.

I've never worked in these conditions and i'm looking for recommendations on basewear, outerwear and any other equipment you guys think I should have before the storms hit. Department is paying for it.

Thx in advance

P.S. i'm a strong swimmer

Aggressive turning technique

We all know Audis are famous for understeering. The sports diff helps but what are techniques you can employ to take turns fast?

Someone told me that Slow in, Fast out technique is best for Audis. Braking loads your front axle which is already overloaded, so brake before the turn so you can bring the car back to balance as you take the turn.

Thoughts?
