H4 EAD Card Produced — SRC Receipt, Case Transferred to Nebraska | Full Timeline

Finally got some good news today. My H4 EAD card was produced on August 17. 🎉
My current EAD expires on September 14, so the last few weeks were extremely stressful. Sharing my timeline in case it helps someone else waiting.
June 11 – H1B + H4 + H4 EAD filed together
June 29 – Biometrics completed
July 4 – Received a response saying they were unable to make a decision on my H4/EAD at that time
July 13 – Sent another email — no response
August 7 – Called USCIS and submitted an expedite request — no response
August 8 – Chatted with Emma and found out my case had been transferred to the Nebraska Service Center, even though my receipt number starts with SRC
August 9 – Saw a post on NRI_ADDA Instagram saying some people were getting approvals after sending email inquiries to USCIS. I had already tried emailing without much success, but I didn’t want to take any chances, so I continued following up.
August 10 – Sent another email mentioning that I work for a healthcare company
August 12 – Sent another email — no response
August 13 – Received a response to my August 10 email saying they were forwarding my case and that I should receive a decision soon
August 17EAD card produced! 🎉
My H4 status is still unchanged at the moment.
The last 30 days were very stressful because my EAD expires on September 14. I was constantly checking Reddit, Facebook groups, USCIS case-analysis trackers, and recent approval timelines. I also spoke with an immigration attorney about a possible mandamus lawsuit in case there was no movement.
On a personal note, I also went to the Dallas Hanuman Temple and did an 11-day fast/prayer. On the 11th day, I received the August 13 email saying my case was being forwarded for a decision. 🙏
I’m not sure which email, expedite request, or follow-up actually helped, but I kept trying every available option.
Posting this because other people’s timelines helped me a lot while I was waiting. Hopefully this gives some hope to anyone with an SRC receipt number whose case was transferred to Nebraska.
Good luck to everyone waiting. Hope you get your approvals soon! 🙏🤞

Nebraska H-4/H-4 EAD – “Forwarded to Adjudications Division” Response

Anyone here received this response from Nebraska Service Center for a pending H-4/H-4 EAD?
“We have forwarded your inquiry to our Adjudications Division for review and resolution.”
If you received the same response, how many days later did you get your H-4 or H-4 EAD approval?
Mine was filed in June 2026 and is still pending. Just trying to understand recent timelines. Thanks!

Anyone with a bundled H-4 + H-4 EAD case pending at Nebraska Service Center?

I filed my H-4 and H-4 EAD together in June 2026. My spouse’s H-1B has already been approved, but my I-539 and I-765 are still pending.
I’ve sent multiple emails to the Nebraska Service Center but haven’t received any useful response.
Has anyone with a similar bundled case received a reply from Nebraska or had their H-4/H-4 EAD approved recently? If yes, when did you file and how long did it take?
Thanks!

Received this response from Nebraska Premium Processing Unit regarding H4 EAD (SRC) – Has anyone else?

Hi everyone,
My H1B was approved in premium processing, but my H4 (I-539) and H4 EAD (I-765, SRC receipt) are still pending.
I emailed the Nebraska Premium Processing Unit requesting concurrent adjudication and received the following response:
“Your cases are being reviewed as requested. However, the referenced I-539 and I-765 are not premium processing cases. This email account is available for premium processing cases only…”
Has anyone received this exact response?
Did your H4/H4 EAD get approved afterward?
If yes, how long after this email?
Did you contact USCIS again or submit an expedite request?
My EAD expires in September, so I’m trying to understand whether this is just a standard reply or if it indicates anything about my case.

Thanks 🙏

H-4 & H-4 EAD pending after H-1B premium approval – emailed Premium Processing Unit. When should I follow up?

Hi everyone,
I’m looking for advice based on your recent experiences.
H-1B was filed with Premium Processing and has already been approved.
H-4 and H-4 EAD were filed concurrently.
H-4 biometrics were completed on **June 29, 2026**.
On **July 16**, I emailed all USCIS Premium Processing Unit email addresses with my H-4 and EAD receipt numbers, H-1B approval notice, and biometrics confirmation, requesting review of the pending dependent applications.
I have a few questions:
Has anyone received a reply after emailing the Premium Processing Unit? If yes, how long did it take?
After the email reply, how many days did it take for your H-4 and EAD to be approved?
If I don’t receive any response, should I send a follow-up on **July 27**, or is it better to wait longer?
Does it matter if the follow-up email comes from my spouse (the H-4 applicant) instead of me (the H-1B principal applicant)?
