Thoughts on Speaking in Tongues

I’m currently a Pentecostal, and I don’t know how to feel about tongues. Is it biblical? Absolutely. Do we Pentecostals over-do them? Most likely yes

I’ve been talking to a guy at church about it. He says that speaking in tongues is for everyone, but I bring up 1 Corinthians 11:27-30, which talks about how speaking in tongues isn’t for everyone, and he said that was only talking about speaking with interpreters. He pointed out how in 1 Corinthians 14:2 that we speak in unknown languages to God, but that was possibly a rebuke to the church in Corinth.

What do y’all think? Growing up Evangelical, I don’t see how it’s loving to have everything you need in God, but still feel like you need to chase after a spiritual gift. But I wanna hear your thoughts

What do you guys think about Evangelical worship?

I’m currently an evangelical, but I’ve been having worship problems. I think the way it’s done can be a great way to bring people into the church, but is the best way to do it? It kinda feels off to me, and I want to know what yall think

Jesus Christ is still God in the Cars Universe

In Cars 2, we see the pope attend a race. Since the Pope exists, this means Catholicism exists, which means Christianity exists, which means Jesus Christ existed, which means that he would’ve died for all the Car sins and rise again three days later. This is mind-blowing. In the Car universe, God would’ve made carkind in his own image. This is a lot to take in.

I keep having dreams of being in romantic relationships with women, but they’re always different

The first dream happened a few nights ago. A girl I know, who I don’t have feelings for in real life, was in this dream. We were together in a group of 6-8 people, and for some reason, I started laying my head on her shoulder, and we held hands at some point. Again, I don’t have any feelings for her in real life, but I found it strange that this took place in my dream

The next dream I had was the next night, this time it was a girl from my past who I had an on/off situationship with. In this dream, we showered together. We never did anything sexual, but I feel like we’ve came close to it, and I used to have sexual feelings for her. Again, I find this strange tho because I stopped talking to her 8 months ago, and I’ve had no desire to return to her. Also, it’s strange because this is is the 2nd straight night I have a dream with a different girl romantically

Finally, I had a dream last night with another girl I know, only is I barely talk to her, and I do not have feelings for her at all. I forgot what we did, it was all normal stuff, but I know it was romantic in someway.

What do yall think? I keep having dreams about different girl in romantic situations, even tho I don’t have any romantic feelings towards anyone, especially those girls I mentioned

For context, I live in Phoenix, but with me growing up in Oklahoma, I’m a Thunder fan. The Suns were supposed to be the 7th seed and play the Spurs, but Deni Avdija JUST HAD TO SCORE 41 and beat the Suns. So the Blazers got the 7th seed, and with the Suns beating the Warriors in the next game, the Suns got the 8th seed, playing my Thunder. So, this was the perfect opportunity to see my favorite team in the playoffs. I bought tickets for Game 4, and just as I was going to the game, I hit someone, causing my car to stop working, and I wasn’t able to go the game because of it.

I blame Deni Avdija for scoring 41 and never doing another thing in the postseason, and I also blame Adam Silver for wanting a play-in tournament in the first place. Why couldn’t Adam just be ok with having 8 teams in each conference? I don’t get it, and I blame both of them
