2026 Honda HR-V — Door rattling at only 1,000 miles, dealership couldn’t duplicate it
Hi everyone,
I have a brand-new 2026 Honda HR-V with only about 1,000 miles, and I’ve been noticing a rattling/buzzing noise coming from the driver-side front door area while driving.
I recorded a video of the noise and attached it to this post.
The strange thing is that if I press my elbow firmly against the driver-side front door, the rattling completely disappears. As soon as I release the pressure, the noise comes back.
I took the vehicle to the dealership and had a technician look at it, but unfortunately they could not duplicate the noiseduring their inspection.
Since I can consistently reproduce it while driving, I’m wondering if anyone else with a 2026 HR-V has experienced something similar.
Could it be a loose:
- Door panel/trim
- Speaker or speaker grille
- Window glass/regulator
- Door seal/weatherstripping
- Clip or fastener inside the door
Has anyone experienced this and figured out what was causing it? Also, any suggestions for how I can help the technician reproduce the noise would be appreciated.
