The ID tool said this is a bedbug. It was crawling on our kitchen counter. Looking for David’s input

My husband had 2 single red dots, one on his knee, one on his calf last week. Today I noticed a new one on his opposite calf.
No signs of fecal or sheds on our bed linens or frame. Have had sticky traps out for a week and don’t see anything. I know you can’t really diagnose on bites alone, but I’ve been nervous lately.

Zigzag bruises between shoulder blades on my upper back. I sleep without a shirt and on my stomach. Not itchy or raised and not acne. These look more like bruises but not sure.
