Advice for the Fog

Does anyone have advice on the feeling of fogginess you get after a cluster attack? Like I can deal with the pain and I have plenty of coping mechanisms for that but I just have been finding it difficult to get back to work after the pain subsides. It feels like my motor skills and short term memory just deteriorate for a few hours afterwards.

Engage maddening PMU

Using both the DLC and the well. The only units I always use are Alear, Veyle, and Mauvier so I’d appreciate some creative builds there. Ideally I’d love to see everyone’s “sleeper builds” that are surprisingly useful even if they wouldn’t seem it.

Edit:
Since I’ve gotten some cool suggestions so far I just wanted to summarize everyone and to get an idea of the missing slots accounting for mauvier and Seadall.

  1. Alear: Griffon - Micaiah
  2. Etie: tbd (potential warrior/griffon suggestions)
  3. Amber: wolf knight - sigurd
  4. Pandreo: cannoneer - corrin
  5. Veyle: wolf knight (sword) - lucina
  6. Diamant: Personal Class - Marth
  7. Alcryst: Personal Class - Eirika
  8. Timerra: personal class - Byleth
  9. Boucheron: cannoneer - veronica
  10. Mauvier: tbd
  11. Seadall: tbd
  12. Empty

I will drag this man kicking and screaming to EoS

Finally got to updating my Odin Dark for modern skills. My man might not have any base attack but with the power of evenly distributed visible stat increases it doesn’t matter! With rise above he can instruct any allies that dont also have rise above in basically every stat and his res becomes surprisingly serviceable for unrest as well. Building up these old units is still by far my favorite part of this game.

The goal of the build is pretty clear. Both instruct and unrest work off of visible stats so maximizing those is the key. Rise above really is a godsend for a unit like Odin that is okay in every stat for enabling this. His combat is definitely serviceable as well since both instruct and unrest are good combat skills on top of being good support skills. Corrin engage keeps Odin generally safe with the terrain although Roy engage gives more visible stats so it’s probably better. (But I have a +0 Roy and a +8 Corrin so I’d rather subtlety flex the merged expensive emblem unit)
